Meet Penny!           DOB: April 2014

Penny came to NTCR as an owner surrender with her son Gatsby when their owner, due to unforeseen life changing events, could no longer keep them. A gorgeous long haired tortie, with striking eyes that have been known to change color from amber to green in different lighting, a huge fluffy tail and with a sweet, loving gentle nature. Penny is a people focused, attention seeking, sweetie who loves to be petted and stroked and enjoys any kind of people interaction. Going through a lot of change in her life recently, she is learning to adapt to life in the shelter and is sometimes unsure of the other cats around her, with the exception of her son Gatsby, who she often snuggles with and follows around. If you want to be Penny’s new “furever” family and home, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
