Cloud and Misty have lived with their current owner since they were babies at just 8 weeks old. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, the girls have enjoyed growing up in the U.S., most recently in Marblehead. Their owner is relocating and is sadly unable to take them with her. They have always been very affectionate with people and have lived with other cats and dogs. Cloud is very gentle-natured, will often sit on the lap of a total stranger, and spends most of her days eating and sleeping (and has a big belly to prove it!) Misty is sweet-natured as well. She loves to snuggle, especially on your chest with a paw either side of your neck. She is often mistaken for a much younger cat, given her playful nature and small size. They are used to a fairly quiet household with older children and adults. Too much noise or commotion will send Cloud off to hide. Cloud and Misty have always been together so we would love for them to continue their relationship in a new home, although they would adapt if adopted as a single pet.
Cloud and Misty have been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and are up-to-date on vaccinations. The adoption fee for both cats is $200.
Every PALS cat and kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. A note about kittens: if you are adopting a kitten, they may need to complete their FVRCP (distemper) series and may not be old enough for their rabies vaccination. These essential vaccines will be the responsibility of their new owner. Detailed vet records and a calendar of vaccination due dates will be provided.
The PALS Adoption Center, located inside PetSmart at 10 Traders Way in Salem, MA (just off Highland Ave/Rte 107) is open Saturday and Sunday from 11AM-4PM or by appointment on Monday/Wednesday/Friday between 11AM- 2PM. Adoption applications can be found online at www.palscats.org, outside of our Adoption Center in PetSmart, or by emailing adoptions@PalsAnimalLifeSavers.com. A completed application is not necessarily an approved application. We do ask for written landlord approval if you rent, or proof of home ownership (water bill, etc.) We will also check your vet references.
Our online sites are updated regularly, but we can not guarantee that a cat you see here is still available. Please email if you have any questions regarding the adoption process or our available cats and kittens. PALS is an all-volunteer, no-kill rescue group. Each and every cat and kitten has been rescued locally.
