Koko and Lotus are adult Siamese cats that have been living in a multi-cat household. One of their owners died and the family has been attempting to re-home all of the cats. Koko is a 7-year old male with dark coloring and ice-blue eyes. He is super affectionate and is in your lap the second you crouch down (you don't even have to be sitting). Koko is very vocal, and has enough personality to fill a house all by himself. Luckily, he gets along well with other kitties, so he won't have to be a jealous only pet. Lotus, a 7-year old female, is more demure than Koko, although equally friendly. She is very striking, lighter in color with very dark, well defined points. She has faint tabby stripes down her legs leading up to the points, and ice blue eyes. The pair are extremely bonded and sleep together every night. They must be adopted together.
Every PALS cat and kitten has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is up-to-date on vaccinations. A note about kittens: if you are adopting a kitten, they may need to complete their FVRCP (distemper) series and may not be old enough for their rabies vaccination. These essential vaccines will be the responsibility of their new owner. Detailed vet records and a calendar of vaccination due dates will be provided.
The PALS Adoption Center, located inside PetSmart at 10 Traders Way in Salem, MA (just off Highland Ave/Rte 107) is open Saturday and Sunday from 11AM-4PM or by appointment on Monday/Wednesday/Friday between 11AM- 2PM. Adoption applications can be found online at www.palscats.org, outside of our Adoption Center in PetSmart, or by emailing adoptions@PalsAnimalLifeSavers.com. A completed application is not necessarily an approved application. We do ask for written landlord approval if you rent, or proof of home ownership (water bill, etc.) We will also check your vet references.
Our online sites are updated regularly, but we can not guarantee that a cat you see here is still available. Please email if you have any questions regarding the adoption process or our available cats and kittens. PALS is an all-volunteer, no-kill rescue group. Each and every cat and kitten has been rescued locally.
