I'm a kitten who my humans think is very mellow, affectionate and pleasantly low key for a kitten. I am curious but tend to evaluate each situation before any action. I can spend hours evaluating the fish in the tank and would like to take some action there but I am thwarted by the invisible barrier between us. I enjoy the simple things in life such as the action of the so called “broom” that my human uses, it never seems to get old! I can become invisible when I hide behind a corner or behind a door, my humans never seem to comprehend my invisibility. I really enjoy playing with my brother and mother and get along well with my other 2 adult cat friends in the house, but I admit I can be a bit much for the old cats. One of my favorite sounds in the world is the crackling of the treat bag opening-oh what a joy that is! My humans are running short on space and would like to find me a good home where I can lay around, being held while having my tummy rubbed, in the sun, with treats, birds flying by outside etc. etc. okay? I don’t think that’s too much to ask for.  Oh, and a fish tanks would be cool - but not required.

Who's that handsome black and white cat in the pictures with me?  My brother Otis!  He is also available for adoption

Theo is altered, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and is Feline Leukemia and FIV negative.

About Twin Cities Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we arrange a meet and greet. Cats and small animals can be adopted and go home at the time of the meet and greet after the adoption agreement is complete and adoption fee collected (which is variable based on animal type, etc). For dogs, we complete home visits and then finalize the adoption.
