Artie's Story...
*Female black and white kitten, shorthair
*Born approximately 8/15/16
*Comes as a part of a pair!
-Artie came to Judge's Park at the teeny tiny weight of .88 pounds. She was found with her four littermates but due to sickness and injury, they all passed away but her :( Since coming to Judge's Park she has grown in leaps and bounds and is all ready to find her new forever home. Artie is super friendly and has earned the nickname "ankle shark" at the rescue. She loves humans and will literally climb you for love and attention. She loves being petted, she loves laps, and she likes being held. Her favorite thing in the whole world is playtime! But what is better than one kitten? Two! Artie came to Judge' Park and bonded very closely with another abandoned sick kitten, Eevee. They are best friends, and we would like them to go as a pair. Artie and Eevee will be spayed prior to adoption, and have their first shots (FVRCP). They are also dewormed and deflead. They are used to dogs, cats, and even small babies (and they love my child!). Adoption fee for the pair is $125 which includes all the vet care above. These girls are being adopted to INDOOR ONLY homes and the adopter must sign a contract stating that they will never be declawed. Our adoption application can be filled out here:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Artie, a Edinburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Edinburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Edinburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edinburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edinburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edinburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
