Hey there! I'm Fire! My siblings and I were found wet and abandoned in a barn. The kind, animal loving man, took us home and bottle fed us since we probably weren't even a week old when he found us.

I am the big brother of three girls but am still extremely affectionate with everyone. I love to climb and explore just about anything. I also enjoy playing and especially wrestling with my sister Smoke. I even got along with the resident Lab that liked to groom us and would lay down between his legs to stay warm while taking a nap!

SPECIAL NEEDS: You may notice that I have a shortened neck. "Little Linebacker" is my nickname due to this. I was born with some fused vertebrae so I don't have as much movement in my neck as my sister. It has really helped my comfort level and mobility with regular chiropractic visits to Dr. Ann. This was also one of the reason to delay my surgery until I had grown some more and been monitored that all was progressing well. Keeping up my treatments will be beneficial especially until fully grown and then they can probably taper down in frequency. (P.S. - The vet suspects I am cryptorchid as they couldn't find my second testicle and my littlest sister was also missing her reproductive organs).

I am truly a unique and special little man that will bring great joy to any that know me. Please consider taking me and my sister home with you, you won't regret it!!

About Animal Rescue Connections

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Rescue Connections was founded in 2004 and serves the Bulverde/San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas. With a growing number of volunteers and the support of other rescue and shelter groups, we are making a difference in the lives of stray animals in our neighborhoods.

The organization exists as a non-profit organization to educate and assist in all aspects of animal rescue, specifically promoting humane treatment of all animals, spay/neuter of companion animals and encouraging responsible, humane treatment of stray cat populations.

Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.

This non-profit organization exists because of the numbers of unwanted, forgotten animals on our streets and strives to provide education and charitable assistance on all aspects of animal rescue.
