Anna and Pippin are bonded and must be adopted together. Their first family could no longer keep them. Their second family found out their couldn't keep rabbits in their apartment. Of the two, Anna is easy to pick-up, enjoys being petted, tolerates being held, active, curious and a great bunny! They both require a yearly vet exam and nail trimming about every 4-6 months.

In our Rabbit Romper Room both of these two loved having extra space to run and do bunny binky's. Anna enjoyed chewing on paper, cardboard paper towel rolls and wooden toys. They should be offered a variety of rabbit safe toys and chewing items. We think this pair would be fine for a family with calm/older children.

All rabbits need time outside of their enclosure to burn off energy and to kick up their feet! A long hallway or a room they haven't been in before will do the trick. Getting out of their enclosure for 2-3 hours a day is critical. Not only does it help with boredom, but it helps with moving their food through their delicate system.

They should eat unlimited amounts of Timothy, Oat hay and/or Orchard Grass hay, 2-3 tablespoons of pellets each (no dried fruit or nut mixes), a small handful of veggies and an occasional piece of fruit as a treat. (See Pipin's write-up for more care information.)
