Frannie's Story...
These 3 puppies are 14 weeks old, weigh about 7 lbs and are being fostered in Spring Hill with 4 dogs and cats. They have been well-socialized. Like all pups, these are curious, cheery, playful, and affectionate. Due to their diminutive size, these pups will not be adopted to families with young children. They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed, and are current on flea and tick prevention. There is a $250 adoption for these puppies. If you are interested in adopting, contact kathi.jackson9@gmail.com to request an application. Meet greets are scheduled only for approved applicants.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frannie, a Weeki Wachee Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Weeki Wachee, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Weeki Wachee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weeki Wachee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weeki Wachee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weeki Wachee paves the way for another one to be saved.
