Buster was born in a home with numerous dogs. He’s great with all dogs and loves going on leashed walks. He is also great in the car. He does not know any formal commands yet, but he is smart and catches onto new routines quickly.
When taken out on a regular basis, he is housebroken and crate-trained. He would benefit from a home with another dog.
While Buster is good with people, he has lived with one woman his entire life, so he loves women and is afraid of men. He has not been abused, just under-socialized. For that reason, he’s best in a home with women, not men and without children.
Buster has seen cats and looked interested but not aggressive.
Buster is very healthy; he has been professionally groomed, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, micro-chipped and heartworm tested. His adoption fee of $350 benefits rescued pets.
To meet and possibly adopt Buster, please contact Sheri at firstname.lastname@example.org to fill out an adoption application and then call her at 773-777-2891 to schedule an appointment to meet him. He is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood – near Lawrence and Ashland.
