Po Boy's Story...
Meet Po Boy and Banmi. These brothers were born in July 2016. Po Boy has big round eyes that will draw you in and make you smile. He is a sweet and soft little guy who can be affectionate as he gets to know you. Banmi is just as soft, but a little more active. He is super curious and playful. They both like to play and enjoy wands and scratchers and don't mind being picked up. Po Boy and Banmi get along great, but they do not need to be adopted together. These boys are ready to see all the great things life has to bring.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Po Boy, a Wilmington Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
