Facts about Flower Boy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 10682310
  • Hair: Short

Flower Boy is the smallest of his litter of three found by two teen girls near a lake in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  At first he was misidentified as a female and was named Flower after the little skunk in a Disney movie.  So...when it was realized "she" was a "he" foster mom just added "Boy".  He's an absolute delight -- everything one expects in a kitten -- playful, lovable, curious, and a glutton when he and his brother and sister are given some canned Fancy Feast kitten at night.  Since they play so well together he should get along well with another friendly cat, or dog, although he's not been around a dog.  Children should be okay if they know how to treat a kitten.  Flower Boy would probably not do well if left alone as a kitten this young since he's always had companionship.  He likes to "work out" and climb a tall sisal scratching post.  Litterbox habits are excellent.

For further information please email the address in the box to the right. Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped; and current on vaccinations.

We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors.

To fill out an application online or to find out more information about our adoption process, just go to and click on the 'Adoption Application' link.

About Frisco Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Frisco Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization and completely relies on fundraising/donations to continue our rescue efforts and provide veterinary care. We do not have a shelter, as all animals live in our homes until adopted. Our goal are saving precious lives, promoting adoption from rescue, and reducing the pet population through spay and neuter.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Frisco Humane Society is at the PetsMart in Frisco, Texas at 3333 Preston Road, Frisco, 75034 on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of every month from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. We have adoptable dogs at that time. Adoptable cats are available daily. You can view all our adoptable pets on our website

Our Adoption Process...

For dogs, we require an application, home visit, and home trial period to ensure that it's a good fit for the dog and the family. For cats, we require an application, but do allow same-day adoptions. Our goal is to find our fosters a "forever" home. Our adoption fee is $135 for cats and $165 for dogs.
