This sweet girl is known to her rescuers as Mama Kitty, a gorgeous calico who was being cared for in a Bay Ridge backyard. One day, the lovely couple looking after her realized that she deserved to be brought indoors, which is where she is now—and she is thrilled with this turn of events, so happy to be safe and sound!

Mama loves being indoors, where she is pampered by her fosters. Though she takes a while with new people, once you earn her trust, she is the sweetest little companion around. She’ll even nuzzle your hand when you’re petting her to ask for more of your touch. She tends to favor females more than males and we think that a quiet, easy-going home would be perfect for Mama!

Mama is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. If you’d like to meet this calico cutie, contact Tara Green at catsbkny@gmail.com!

Thank you for thinking of animals in need - your support allows us to help the next furry sweetheart!

About Brooklyn Animal Action

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
