RAMSES's Story...
Ramses is such an incredibly handsome young fella who will just melt your heart. He was found as a lost doggie on 10/11/16 and is now available for adoption. He is big and beautiful but oh so very scared right now. We would love for him to find a loving home and get out of the big scary shelter as soon as possible. He is about 1.5 years old and weighs 54 lbs. Ramses has definitely had some training and will sit, stay and lay down when asked. We imagine he probably has some pretty good house manners to, although we can't say for sure. He is current on his vaccines and upon adoption will be neutered, heartworm tested and micro chipped. Ramses ID # is 590068 and he can be found in cage 50.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RAMSES, a Marietta German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Marietta, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
