I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Meet Lady!!!!! She is about 4-5 years old Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix. She is about 45 lbs. She is already spayed and received UTD shots. She was surrendered to a local shelter by her previous owner because they were moving, and we rescued her from the shelter before her time was up. She is a little shy at the beginning but takes very short time (like 5 -30 min) to warm up with new people. She is actually very affectionate and sweet. She gets shy with new dog as well and may show a little confusion, but she warms up with them very quickly as well. She is currently at her foster home with other large dog. She warms up quickly with a submissive dog. We guess her shelter experience traumatized her and her shyness has been caused from the scary experience. She is so loving and highly trainable. She ignored other dogs on the street during the walk and also has been doing very well at the group training class with other dogs around. If you have other dog and are an experienced dog owner and can give her few days to warm up in new environment, she will be your best friend forever. If you do not have any dogs and would like to welcome her as the only dog, that will be great as well because she really loves to be next to people. If you are interested, please go to our website: www.dogzhaus.org and fill out "adoption application" online. Once we receive your application, we will contact you for a meet and greet.

About Our Rescue Group...
DOGzHAUS (pronounced as DOG HOUSE) is a small, Los Angeles based CA registered non profit dog rescue organization that was formed to give a second chance to the shelter dogs. We are a 501(c)(3) rescur group and your donations are tax deductible.100% of your donations benefit our rescue dogs. The organization is run by volunteers and funded entirely by donations and adoption fees.
All our dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on their shots and micro chipped before being adopted. While at the rescue, medical care is provided for each dog based on their individual needs. We can't guarantee the future health of the dog, and adopters are encouraged to take the dog to their own veterinarian for a thorough exam.
Our Goal: *Rescuing dogs from life threatening situations at animal shelters and elsewhere. *Finding their permanent loving homes with qualified owners. *Assisting owners of dogs who can no longer keep them to find them new homes. *Educating the public about the advantages of adopting dogs from shelters and rescue organizations, and about the need for spaying and neutering dogs. *Educating dog owners and prospective owners with dogs about their proper care and training, and about other aspects of each breed.

Our Adoption Process...
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please contact us for the adoption application form. All dogs adopted through us are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and microchipped. Because the minimum adoption donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask our adopters to help us spread the word about the important work that we do. Our adoption donation minimum is $250 for adult medium to large dogs, $200 for small adult dogs, $275 for puppies 1 year and under (any size) and $180 seniors 8 years and older.
