Frampton is a 1 year old boy who dresses himself in smile forward fashion every single day. This young hunk was sprung just in the nick of time from a rural SC shelter, and his appreciation shows from ear to ear all throughout the day. True to his age, Frampton is an enthusiastic adventurer who's doing wonderfully learning his good dog manners. He does his very best to be an excellent leash walker, but sometimes something is just too tempting and must be investigated immediately. Redirect and positive reinforcement are the order of the day with this bright pupil, and he does his very best to contain his enthusiasm to make his people happy. 4 short weeks from cast off shelter dog to good boy Frampton, impressive stuff! 3-4 mile a day walks seem to do the trick for this yearling boy, but given the chance, we'd tend towards a fenced yard over at apartment at this stage of his development. If you're an avid runner, that should do the trick for just about any sort of residence, and he'll grow out of a good amount of that teenage enthusiasm as he matures. Lest we give you the impression that he's a handful, he most definitely is not. He's super around the house, he chews his bones and toys while he watches his foster family go about their daily business. Got yard work to do? Throw down a couple of blankets and Frampton will happily occupy himself with his bone while you get your work done, and at the end of the day, he's happy to curl up next to you on the sofa while you indulge a good relax after a hard day's work. Frampton is a bit enthusiastic when he meets other dogs, but tell me you can see a new pittie in public without getting excited...can you blame him? Once he gets the Hellos out of the way, Frampton is an excellent doggie playmate who loves to make new friends. Got Feline? Frampton's kitty safe too! Frampton loves people of all ages, but it's probably best at his age if he's got older children to play with, he may be a bit of a Bam Bam with the really wee ones and not realize his own strength. Frampton is an all around great dog on every front, he's ready to pack his favorite Kong and move into his forever home. Are you his people? Email to find out more about Frampton.

Our adoption fee is $195. This covers spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, all age appropriate vaccines, and any needed vet care.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Approval Process for South of the Bully

• An Adoption Application must be completed and approved. We call and check vet references to make sure any current pets are up to date with vaccinations and check length of time under vet care. We review all their current pets and ask questions about their temperament to make sure the dog they want to adopt would be a good fit.

• If a dog has been chosen, a meet and greet is arranged if requested AFTER the application is approved. If they have other pets, we also like them to meet at this time, if possible.

• The final step is a home visit. If the home visit is approved the potential adopters can begin their 14 day trial adoption period. Our adoption fee is $195 which includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip. If for some reason the dog isn’t a fit in their home we refund $95 of the adoption fee within the 14 day trial period. This is all listed in our Adoption Contract.

• We offer training support and resources for the lifetime of the dog once adopted. Our contract states that if for any reason they cannot continue to provide care for one of our dogs that it be returned to our rescue.
