Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beware of sweet Bear because he will steal your heart. He's a 2 year old Rottweiler mix that was surrendered to Friendship because his family was having issues with their landlord. They found him on Craiglist very malnourished. The family had Bear for over a year. He is now healthy but needs to eat grain free food or he will have stomach issues. Bear loves kids but gets excited and may knock little ones over. Older kids are recommended. He is afraid of other dogs and chases cats but does not hurt them. Bear has manners in the home and is house trained. He was never crated in the home but would sometime chew on the kids toys if he was bored. This friendly guy loved sleeping with family members. His favorite thing to do was play on the kids slide. Bear is a lovable fellow looking for a forever home. Stop by soon and make his dreams come true.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
