Zane is a handsome Husky/Akita mix that has the combination of intelligence, easy temperament and a ready smile for all he meets. His stand-up ears that represent both the Husky and Akita breeds is a dead giveaway about his parentage. The blue eye is symbolic of the Husky touch in his heritage. He is about 2 years old and weighs about 45 pounds and is fully grown. We are looking for an active person or couple that will take him on hikes, walks, runs, good outdoor time and will also work on his obedience training so that he is polished into an exemplary dog with great intelligence with a desire to learn. It would be a waste not to have this boy in a secured home with a fenced yard so that he can run and play and just generally be a dog with freedom to be the active dog that he is. He would do fine with children as long as they are respectful of him and the space he needs from time to time. We will be looking for a moderately calm household and we think he might enjoy some agility training. If you are up for the wonderful challenge of molding this stunning boy in to a show stopper, then please let us know. We are ready to talk with you. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or firstname.lastname@example.org
