Meet Noble!

Noble is very aptly named. Noble was found on the streets with severe demodex mange, living with a smaller dog. A good Samaritan was feeding Noble and his small friend and witnessed Noble protecting her from aggressive dogs. Noble also made sure she had enough to eat by only eating when she was finished. Both Noble and his friend were brought to the Corsicana animal shelter where the other dog was rescued, but Noble was left behind. Noble was picked up by a volunteer and taken into the Mazie's rescue program, where he was treated for his mange. Noble is now neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.



Noble is a very high energy dog. For this reason, a home with property for him to run on would be preferred, but we will always consider any active homes with no small children interested. This boy is NOT a couch potato! He loves his chew toys, and when he isn't outside playing he can be found laying on his bed chewing his toys. He adores other dogs and loves to play. Noble is livestock friendly, and lives with a gaggle of Guinea Fowl, a Horse, Goat and a friendly herd of Longhorn cattle next door. He is very good off-leash on the property, but he is never left unattended outside the yard. Noble is fearful of men, and will need some help in his new home to overcome this. He is currently working on it with his foster family and is making great strides. Noble is true to his breed mix and will need structure and an authority figure in his life in order to flourish.
