Nelly Rose's Story...
Nelly Rose was surrendered to a shelter by her previous owners, who were no longer able to keep her. She is an 11 month, full-grown, Maltese Terrier mix and still very much full of puppy behavior. She has a super sweet and confident disposition, is very playful and full of energy, so would love to be in a home where she has a lot of interaction with people and frequent walks and other activities as part of her regular lifestyle. Since she is still a baby, she will require puppy training so that she grows into a well-behaved young adult. Nelly Rose is very dog friendly and bonds quickly with her human friends. A dog play mate in the home would be a plus but not a necessity if the family is able to provide Nelly Rose with plenty of interaction. Being a Maltese mix, she is hypoallergenic and a non-shedder. As you can see, she is also very photogenic!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nelly Rose, a Los Angeles Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
