Peanut was born on July 17, 2016 to a feral Mom who had been trapped only one day before she gave birth. About Our Rescue Group...

This is our mission statement as shown on our web page: "HiArbor's purpose is to find permanent homes for cats and kittens who have no home, to promote spay/neuter programs, and to educate the public about feline overpopulation." Come Meet Our Pets...

Some of our kitties can be seen at Animal House Grooming and Supplies at 229 Absecon Blvd. in Absecon, NJ, but there is not enough room there for all of the wonderful kitties that HiArbor has for adoption. If you don't find the kitty that you are looking for at Animal House call 609-432-5167 to make an appointment to see the rest of the crew.

Our Adoption Process...

Applicants will be asked to complete an application form. We make every effort to match our kitties with the right forever home to ensure a long and mutually fulfilling relationship. You will be asked for a vet reference, if you have one, and information about your home and family. HiArbor will want to know if there are children in the home, and what role the cat will play in the family (i.e. mouser, companion, child's pet, etc.) and if your have experience with cats as pets, We will ask about your thoughts on de-clawing and whether you are planning for an indoor or outdoor pet. We will ask if you are a renter or home owner and if you, as a renter, are permitted to have pets as per your lease. There is a $60 adoption donation.
