You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Rockie is a sweet, affectionate boy who is cute as a button. He is a bit shy and does take a little while to warm up but once he does he will be your best friend for life. He is working on house training and crate training. He enjoys his walks around the neighborhood and laying on the couch with his family. Since Rockie is a bit shy he will require a home with children over 10 yrs old. Rockie would really love a fenced yard to play in and someone who can spend lots of time with him, maybe even take a fun training class or two.
Pets Alive WNY (formerly Buffalo Humane) is an all-volunteer nonprofit no-kill animal rescue organization. In addition to adoptions, we also do some sanctuary work as well as behavioral consultations for persons in the community.

Our Adoption Process...
Potential adopters must complete an adoption application and in some cases we may require a home visit (mostly dogs). For current adoption fee info and promotions, we recommend going to our website at http://www.BuffaloHumane.org. As of 2013, dog adoption fees range from $175 for dogs to $250 for puppies, and some dogs may have reduced or waived adoption fees. Cat adoption fees range from $25 for older adult cats to $155 for young kittens, with some cats' adoption fees waived.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
