Kamea's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Kamea's Story...
Kamea means "precious" and she sure is. City of Leavenworth officially has no breed restrictions, but Leavenworth Animal Control isn’t allowed to adopt out anything that looks pit bullish. We pulled this darling after no one claimed her. Kamea is sweet as can be, calm and quiet. She's now sterilized, vaccinated & micro-chipped, and parasite free. She is okay with people but has not yet been tried with children. She is not too interested in cats. She is house trained, good on a leash and is maybe 3 years old. Kamea is ready to meet her new family!!

Standard adoption fee for dogs is $125, which helps to cover the costs of vetting & care while she awaits her new home. Email LvnCoHS at live.com for application! Or come by during open hours to visit. Mon & Thurs 8 to Noon; Tues & Fri 2-6 PM.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kamea, a Basehor Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Basehor, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Basehor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Basehor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Basehor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Basehor paves the way for another one to be saved.
