My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Clifford. I was born September 29, 2015. I am a healthy, active and funny little guy. I'm neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. I can be quite shy at times, but if you give me time to get to know you, I come out of my shell. I have a tiny little "mew" and a very curious nature. I like to explore. Sometimes I will shut the bedroom door so I can look at myself in the full-length mirror. I love to play and wrestle with the other family cats and I love to play with the "cat dancer" toys. I also have several small balls that I like to carry around. I really enjoy scratches and pets, but I am not a lapcat. I would rather play. I get along well with other kitties and I am used to the dog that lives in my foster care home. I always use the litterbox like a good boy, too. I would like to find a quiet home with a patient person, and with another kitty or kitties, who is willing to let me have plenty of time to adjust to a new environment. I would not do well in a home with a lot of noise and chaos. Please give me a chance to be your newest family member! You'll be so glad you did. Adoption fee: $60. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
