Ruger's Story...
Ruger was the 4th kitten born out of 6 in his litter, and he was the smallest for many weeks. Not anymore! He is 10 weeks old and did we mention completely adorable? This beautiful blue tabby boy is SO handsome, cute and engaging. Ruger is independent, and loves to seek out his human companion for naptime. When you do find him on your lap at naptime, he really enjoys his belly petted. He enjoys playing with his brothers and sisters and would love to go to a home with one of his siblings!

Ruger is FIV/Leuk negative, he is current on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and dewormed. Fill out an application for this handsome boy here: http://forrescue.net/cat-application/ Ruger is located in Huntsville, AL, but he is available for adoption in your area!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruger, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
