This is Winter - she is about two years old and is a Flat Coat Retriever mix.
Beware this girl with steal your heart and your socks!
Winter is a very active, playful, girl who loves fetch, toys, and socks. She is a bit of a “busy bee” that is into everything and wants to be a part of whatever you are doing. Still is very much a puppy, in spite of the fact they’ve guessed her age at 2 years. She loves to chew, so will need some chew toys. She also enjoys snuggling on the couch and belly rubs, once she has gotten some of her energy out.
Winter is smart and food motivated. She has learned “sit” and “down”. These commands are still new, so she still needs hand signals and treats at least some of the time. She is also learning to walk well on a leash, and to sit and wait to go through doors.
She is crate trained, and will go into her crate for CHEESE. Also Winter is used to peanut butter in a Kong toy which helps entertain her when she is crated. She is house broken.
She does amazing with other dogs and all she wants is a friend to play with.
She is spayed, current on her shots, is heartworm negative and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $200.00. If you are interested in Winter please go to our website at www.patriotsforpets.com and complete an adoption application.
