Ansa's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Ansa's Story...
Ansa is a friendly 4 year old Finnish spitz/shiba inu mix. She loves people and loves to give kisses. Her foster says that she is very well behaved. She already knows how to sit, shake, lie down, stay and sit pretty and she is fully house trained. She is very eager to please and very attentive. She is pretty mellow and is happy to just hang out, but she does enjoy long walks. She has done well with other dogs before, but has not gotten along with other female dogs in our care, so probably would be recommended as an only dog or in a home with a submissive male. This sweet girl will be available at our adoption event this coming Saturday 10/22 at Petco 2211 S. College Ave from 10am-1pm. If you are interested in this friendly girl, please submit an application through our website aaanimalrescue.org. Please feel free to email with any questions allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ansa, a Fort Collins Finnish Spitz/Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Finnish Spitz/Shiba Inu for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Finnish Spitz/Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Finnish Spitz/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Finnish Spitz/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
