Ripley's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING**
Ripley is a petite 4 month old male Doberman puppy. He's very sweet and follows you around the house just like a shadow. He absolutely loves people and loves to give kisses. He's a little nervous at first but he warms right up and wants to play. He's very food motivated and smart so he'll need to attend obedience classes with his new family. He has typical puppy accidents but he's catching on quickly to potty training and crated training. Ripley will need a fenced-in yard to run and play and burn energy, and he'd love another dog to play with. He's fully vaccinated and microchipped, and will come with a contract to be neutered once he's at least 6 months old. We adopt to Indiana and the surrounding states and he's being fostered in Lafayette, In. His adoption fee is $400 and the first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at www.DedicatedtoDobes.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ripley, a Lafayette Doberman Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Lafayette, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Lafayette.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lafayette already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lafayette breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lafayette paves the way for another one to be saved.
