I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Harvey's Story...
This guy is now one of our longest staying pups and we have no idea why. He is handsome, friendly and a great pup all around. Harvey is a big, friendly 10 month old Rottweiler mix. He likes to play and run around. He does well with other dogs, but can play rough, so would not be recommended to go to a home with small dogs. He needs some training, but is a very sweet guy who would make a great buddy to be active and hang out with. He is already house and crate trained and been working on other basic commands with his fosters. He is such a sweet boy, but keeps getting overlooked. This sweet boy will be available at our adoption event this coming Saturday 1/7 at Petco 2211 S. College Ave from 10am-1pm. If you are interested in this friendly boy, please submit an application through our website aaanimalrescue.org. Please feel free to email with any questions allaboardanimalrescue@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harvey, a Fort Collins Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
