Boomer's Story...
Up for adoption: Boomer.

He can be adopted in Texas and New England.

He is a perfect condo and apartment sized dog or for anyone looking for a smaller sized lab mix.

Boomer is about 1 year old and he weighs just over 30 lbs. He has a very sweet and timid nature. He is playful with other doggies and great with kids. He seems very curious and cautious when it comes to cats and respects their space.

His sweet nature reflects in everything he does such as riding well in the car and walking good on a leash. Sleeping in a crate at night is no problem for him either. He is all around a pleaser and just wants to feel safe and loved.

Boomer is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and house broken. Apply at www.luckylabrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boomer, a Austin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
