Chloe's Story...
6 years old
Who could say no to that sweet face! Chloe was signed over to our shelter when she wasn’t doing well with other dogs. Her previous owner did let us know that she has been housebroken, loves children, knows several basic commands but doesn’t care for other dogs and cats. Chloe is a solo act and once you get her home you realize she is all the dog you need. As soon as you meet Chloe she is likely to come bounding from the other side of the room insisting on attention. She is a sweet as can be girl looking for her forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Fruit Heights Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
