Important Note

Sia is best friends with Claudia. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Sia is a beautiful 2 year old gray and white female Pit mix. She is active and playful. This friendly girl will do well in an environment where she will get some attention. She loves interaction but still tends to get a little overstimulated. She has a huge interest in her toy on a string so NO CATS. Introduction to children and other pets in the home required prior to adoption. Do you have time for Sia?

About Haven Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

Our mission is to promote humane treatment of animals through sheltering, spay/neuter, adoption and community education. We provide animal rescue, evacuation and sheltering services during disasters and provide animal regulation services for the City of Redding. We have two State Humane Officers on staff to investigate animal cruelty cases. We operate on private donations and hold two fundraiser each year, the Dog A Thon & Boot Scootin' Doggie Barbecue in June and the Bark & Wine & Brew in October.

Come Meet Our Pets...

The Morgan Adoption Center is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 to 5:00. We also have an adoption kiosk at PetSmart on Hilltop Drive in Redding, which is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 4:00.

Our Adoption Process...

Our regular adoption fees are $85 for cats and $135 for dogs. However, many of the animals' adoption fees have been sponsored by animal lovers or discounted for special circumstances such as for senior pets, or pets that have had longer shelter stays. Renters must have landlord approval. An adoption application is required and a dog introduction is required for dog adoptions into homes with other dogs.
