Facts about Trooper

  • Breed: Boxer
  • Color: White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
This fellow is named Trooper and he’s 7 years old. He is a handsome guy with his white coat and brown eye patch. He is 65 pounds, heartworm negative and healthy although he is developing cataracts in both eyes. His vision is impaired but not a lot so far. He loves going on walks and tells his human when he’s ready to go.

Trooper gets to go to doggie day care with his foster mom, and he loves dog parks too. We don’t know if he’s met cats and he’d be best with kids old enough to understand his limitations. He is house trained and hasn’t needed a crate so far. Trooper really likes human companionship and car rides. He is mellow inside and gets more animated outside. He can get a little jealous when his foster mom pets another dog, but “No” is all it takes for him to wait his turn.

Trooper is a special guy who would do well with a patient human and a dog buddy to rely on as he ages. He is a very easy, loving guy with lots of life and joy to share.
