Hellooo, people of Miami! My name is Sugar. I wanted to talk to you about something that's been confusing me. I don't get much attention from visitors roaming the halls of Paws 4 You. I even heard someone say that I wasn't a very 'Miami' type of dog. Can you tell me what that is supposed to mean? I thought Miami is the place where we live, and I’m totally here, so I don't get it. If this is about my breed, why would you want a dog that looks like everyone else’s dog anyway? Look, I like to walk and play and be pet just like any other dog, and all I want to do is get ADOPTED so someone will walk me and play with me and pet me every day! Okay – so I also love to chase things, like squirrels. Oh my dog, squirrels are SO FUN. Squirrels! Oops. Sorry. Back to what I was saying... Right now, I honestly feel completely forgotten and totally alone. Maybe I need to do something to be more 'Miami' so people here will love me and give me a yard to chase squirrels in. But what can I possibly do? I can’t change the way I look. And shouldn’t people love me for who I am on the inside? Isn’t that what love means? Despite my country look, I’m just like any other “Miami” dog on the inside - full of love to give and ready to receive the love you have. So come on Miami, wont you show a hound some love? Please?
