Chance's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Chance's Story...
Chance is a super sweet little guy! He's a wire haired terrier mix and weighs about 15lbs. He is potty trained and crate trained. Chance is still learning that he can trust people. He's very timid, but he's been opening up very slowly. Chance is a very big flight risk and doesn't walk on a leash, so he is definitely going to need a fenced yard. He's great with other small dogs, and he likes to follow their lead, so a home with another small dog would be perfect for him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chance, a Manhattan Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
