Facts about Rousette

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
DOB October 14, 2015.

Pretty little Rousette was one of 50 cats recently rescued from death row at a Quebec shelter. After arriving at her foster home after her long, long journey she walked out of her carrier, stretched, purred and lay down as if to say “this is more like it”. She can't wait to explore and make herself comfortable in her forever home. She is good with other cats too! Rousette is affectionate and playful - she is a delightful little cat in every way! Adopt this adorable little girl so she can bring lots of smiles to your face every day.

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
