Important Note

Zoey is best friends with Bailey. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Zoey is a spunky, little wild thing that loves to play and chase her big brother Bailey. She was the runt of the litter but don't tell her that!! She is the boss in every room and has no fear of much of anything. She loves feather chasers, balls, bubbles, and toy mice to name a few favorites. Although very active she is also very sweet and lovable. She has a purr bigger than she is and gives kisses when snuggled. She is sweet with a side of sass!!

Zoey was born outside in Collegeville where a caring man fed her and siblings until Stray Cat Blues could come and help them. Zoey is very bonded to her brother Bailey and adoption applications for the pair will have priority above others. Zoey would do best in a home without dogs or very young children.

Zoey is microchipped, Fiv/Felv neg, current on vaccinations and litter box trained.

About Stray Cat Blues

About Our Rescue Group...

Officially, Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing rescue and placement to stray, abandoned, and feral cats. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays.

Stray Cat Blues actively works to find permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our different adoption locations (see Come Meet our Pets section below) to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for our organization. Our cats can also be seen online at www.adoptapet.com.

Most of our cats offered for adoption are strays and their offspring that are rescued off the streets.

For those stray cats that are more wary of humans, especially feral cats, we can help humanely trap, sterilize and either return them if the area they live in is safe and they are being fed, or we house them and adopt them out as barn cats.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application with vet references or a home visit. All the animals are screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes. Our adoption fee is only $95. (Fee can be paid by cash or check at our Petsmart North Wales/Montgomeryville location. At our Collegeville location, the fee can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.)

If you are interested in adopting a cat, you can find our online adoption application at our website - www.straycatblues.org. On the side of the page there is a section labeled Quick Adoption Links. Click on the link for application to adopt a House Cat. Click on this link, fill out this short form, and be sure to click Submit at the bottom. One of our Adoption Reps will then contact you within a couple of days to guide you through the adoption process.

Alternately you can complete a paper application at Petsmart when we have SCB volunteers present (see times for adoption showings). Questions - email us at: savingstrays@yahoo.com. We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
