There will be a phone interview and a screening process. As I will want to make sure that you are the right person for the particular pup, you will also want to make sure I am the rescue you want to do business with. My references are the Better Business Bureau, Lodi Animal Shelter, Pals in Lodi, Pacific Veterinary Hospital in Stockton, Vineyard Vet in Lockeford. You can also read about my accomplishments in the notes on my Pups Rescue Facebook page
Nibbles was born on 8/27/16. He will be 13 weeks old on 11/24/16. He has had his first 3 vaccines, been de-wormed and has a micro chip. Right now he weighs about 4 pounds. He will be 10 pounds or less when he is full grown. You will be required to bring him back to Stockton for his neuter appointment in January. He will not be adopted into a home with kids under 15 years old because of his size and you must be a stay at home person. If you are interested in adopting him, call Marilyn at 209-956-3004 for a phone interview.
YOU MUST CALL FIRST, SENDING AN EMAIL FIRST WILL DELAY THE ADOPTION PROCESS. You must be at least 25 years old to adopt a puppy from this organization. Another one of our requirements is that whoever is interested in adopting the pup, will also be the one who stays at home with the pup. Pups Rescue's adoption fees range from $200-$300. Please leave a message, as all calls are screened. This is a residence, please do not call after 9:00 P.M. We will not ship puppies, you must come to our location

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
