Bernard is a beautiful 4.5 month old, 29lb., St Bernard mix. He is an owner surrender from central Louisiana. He is great with other dogs. He LOVES water and is completely kennel trained. He has a beautiful stout structure with a great personality and still has a lot of the clumsy puppy tendencies. Loves to play all day and into the evening and sleeps well all night. He is a really sweet and still has the fluffy puppy coat.Currently in foster in Ohio. This is a courtesy post for Rescue Road Trips - www.rescueroadtrips.com - please contact email@example.com for more information.
We are a small rescue group dedicated to saving mostly shaggy dogs, and sometime others that just need our help - mutts in all shapes and sizes from the shelters or from the cruel streets - most of these dogs face a certain death. We have partners - visit our facebook at Lexi's Angels or one of our partner's websites www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org. We rely on fosters and donations to help us with our mission.
Our Adoption Process...
Our partner, Shaggy Dog Rescue wants to find the perfect home for all the dogs in our care. Therefore, we are very strict in our adoption policies.
STEPS IN THE ADOPTION PROCESS
Fill out and return our adoption application online at www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org. After receiving your application, we would like to discuss with your veterinarian, if you have any animals in care at their institution We will contact you to discuss the Adoptee, to see if we can make the perfect match. After discussion, we will arrange a home visit for you to meet your prospective new family member & friend. Upon agreement by all parties, sign adoption contract and give adoption donation for your Adoptee. We do ask that for 3 months after adopting you email us photographs & progress reports of your new pet.
