Meringue's Story...
Meet Meringue Pie! Meringue was pulled from a Louisiana High-Kill Shelter by Rescue Road Trips and is currently being fostered in Ohio. She is a 1 year old stereotypical Sheltie Mix, who is full of love and life! She is an outgoing and friendly companion, if you can toss a tennis ball you'll have a friend for life. When she is not playing with a furry or human friend, she enjoys cuddling up on the couch for a afternoon or evening nap. If you think you have the perfect family home for Meringue, we would love to hear from you! Currently in foster in Ohio. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meringue, a Norwalk Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
