My name is Promise and I am practically perfect. My foster family says am such a good girl! I love my 13 yr old foster human and my foster Mom. I also LOVE walks!! I would make a great walking or running partner!!! I like to sleep with you in bed, but I’m also real quiet in my crate. I only bark if someone is at the door or drives into the yard. The potty training is going great! I know that I get a treat when I go outside so I’ve learned to do it quickly so I get my treat faster! I am so good outside that my Mom doesn’t even put me on a leash anymore. I don’t wander very far from her and I come immediately when I am called.
There is a grouchy old wiener dog that lives here too and I get along with him ok, unless he tries to eat my food. There’s a cat here, but she hides 99% of the time so I only see a flash of her every so often. When I do see her, I like to chase her, so I probably would do best in a home without them, unless they are willing to teach me a lesson on why it’s not a good idea to bother cats. I’m smart so I would probably get it quickly!
I had a tough life before I came here and I am very afraid of new things. Loud or fast movements scare me, so slow introductions to both new humans and animals is a must so I can feel comfortable. Men especially scare me but I’m sure with just a little time I would learn to trust them again. I have some allergies so I’ve been switched to a grain free diet to see if that helps my sensitive skin. My foster Mom says anyone who gets me is going to be very lucky!
