Benny is a gentle, affectionate, quiet guy. He is respectful of other cats. He likes to get his morning canned-catfood treat every day! It took Benny a month or so to open up to me, but his gentle spirit made it worth the wait.
Benny was adopted as a kitten to 2 kind, cat-loving sisters who lived on a small farm in a town several hours away with a couple of inside-only cats. I was happy for Benny, until I got a phone call, 4 years later, from the animal control in that small town. Benny's owners had lost the farm and moved into town. They had over 25 cats in a 2 bedroom apartment. Many of the cats were not using their litter box. Benny was so scared that he was taken for a feral cat until his microchip was read and we were called. However, except for a big need for a dental which our vet gave him, he was in good physical shape. He has very good litter box habits! He is gentle and quiet, but very loving.
All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative. Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $110 for cats and $150 for dogs.
