Zoey's Story...
Zoey is a sweetheart six month old Calico kitten with gorgeous markings and a black "patch" over her eye. Her face, chest, belly and front paws are snowy white, making her look as if she is wearing a designer fur coat! Zoey is playful and social and fun but has tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). FeLV+ cats should be the only cat in the house, or live with other FeLV positive cats as this virus is contagious between cats. FeLV is not contagious to Dogs, other animals or humans. Currently Zoey shows no symptoms of this virus. If you can open your home to this adorable baby, or want more information, please contact Dani: 714.997.0868 or 714.744.5798

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Sherman Oaks Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sherman Oaks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sherman Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
