My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pippi is fostered in Sheboygan WI through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org.
Pippi is a 2 year old little girl who weighs 3.5 pounds who came to United Yorkie Rescue in October 2016. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is house-trained, but may have an occasional accident. She gets along well with other dogs & cats. Birds do not seem to interest her. Even though she is tiny, she jumps onto furniture and beds without a problem. Even though she can do this, she needs to be picked up so she doesn't get hurt and helped down so that likewise, she doesn't break a leg, hip or otherwise hurt herself, with her 'big little dog' mentality.
Small children scare her and with her petite size are unsafe, as are other dogs over 10lbs. so she must have a home with children teenage/adult children and small dogs only.
Pippi 's settled into her foster home quickly. She loves other dogs, is a great lap dog and loves to be with her person. She has some separation anxiety, so she'll need a forever home where someone is home most of the time, or she can travel with them. She'll bark if left alone so would not make a good apartment or condo dog where she could annoy nearby residents. Pippi loves going for walks, car rides and knows her basic commands sit, shake, stay, and come.
She is fearful of the vacuum, though.
She'd also benefit from a fenced yard, again with her size, and speed and agility, she'll be a blur and gone. Pippi is up to date on her shots and spayed, and ready to find her forever home, could it be with you? To complete an adoption application go to http://unitedyorkierescue.org.
