SUSIE's Info...

I am housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

SUSIE's Story...
SUSIE is a 9 year old German Shepherd from Raton NM. She is pretty much blind and in need of putting on a few pounds, but is otherwise in pretty good shape. She lucked out with a wonderful foster home (thanks Brittany and Susan). Susie is good with other dogs and gets along fine once she figures out where all of the furniture is located. We will be taking her to any eye specialist to figure out if her condition is treatable and our regular vet for a spay. Susie is heartworm negative and current on vaccinations. For an application or additional information, please call/text 303-882-0837 or email dancingdogrescue@earthlink.net. Update 10/22/2016: Sweet Susie had a seizure this morning. She is on medications now. Her foster home is around enough during the day to monitor her. If anyone can help out with a temporary foster, we would certainly appreciate it. She will be seeing a specialist this week.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SUSIE, a Littleton German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Littleton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Littleton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Littleton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Littleton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Littleton paves the way for another one to be saved.
