Special home requirements or medical: needs experienced owner
Minchu is a real head turner. He is very high energy, outgoing and a friendly guy who is good with other dogs. Minchu is confident, playful and independent. Every once in a while, however, he might get scared at being picked up if he thinks something bad might happen to him. He is a little needy and will cry for attention; he also may guard certain toys with his owner. He is crate trained. Minchu has some separation anxiety and he may cry when left alone. He also has resource guarding issues with his food and things he gets attached to. He is responding well to correction with a spray bottle. He needs an active home and might be a handful for a first time owner. We think Minchu would do best with an experienced owner who can read doggie body language and we do not recommend him for a home with small kids. We also think that because of his resource guarding he'd be better as an only dog.
