My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peet! An adorable little terrier boy with a sweet personality. He is estimated to be just about a year old and weighs 13 pounds. Though a bit timid when he first arrived, he is now settling nicely and becoming much more relaxed. He loves being around people and will be your constant companion if you let him. He is friendly with everyone including small kids and other dogs. We haven’t had him around cats but I think he would be fine based on his temperament. He loves being close but doesn’t seem to love being picked up. As long as you can keep him on a schedule, he seems to know that pottying is for outside. He loves running around in the backyard and is great on the leash. He doesn’t pull at all and walks right by your side. In the evening he loves to cuddle up next to you or curl up in your arms, and absolutely loves having his belly rubbed. He is quiet through the night and prefers to be in bed with you if you let him. He cries a little in the crate but settles down pretty quickly. He hasn’t caused any damage when left in the house alone. He’s young and has a lot of energy but not in an annoying way at all. As long as he gets to run in the yard or go for a walk he is very calm in the house. If you're looking for a miniature best friend, a fun little dog, Peet is your guy!

Peet's adoption fee of $325 includes: vet exam, heartworm test, distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, routine deworming, flea control, heartworm preventative, microchip and neuter. He also had a fractured tooth which was extracted, and other than that his teeth are in great shape.
