We are the Logan County Humane Society. We provide animal control within the city limits of Sterling. We try our hardest to get every pet a home, but with such limited resources its very hard for us.
Come Meet Our Pets...
In order to come see our animals you have to call and make an appointment. We do check our voicemails regularly.
Our Adoption Process...
In order to adopt a pet from us you must pass a home inspection. We require that all adopters have a fenced yard. The adoption fee for cats and dogs is $110.00. For cats this includes spaying/neutering, first shots and a feline leukemia test. For dogs this includes spaying/neutering, first shots and micro-chipping.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
