COLLIN is a super sweet young adult male kitty who is white with a gray tabby cap, cape, and tail -- and an adorable gray spot on his pink nose. He is approximately a year and a half old. He is a shy guy when in a new environment and he may hide under the bed for a day or two, but once he feels safe in his new space and his new person/family has won his trust, then Collin is very affectionate and good-natured. He is a gentle boy who will do best in a quiet, stable home. He came from a large group of indoor-outdoor cats in Oakridge, where he was raised with much love. He gets along great with other cats, and will likely do well with gentle cat-savvy dogs and kids. He could be an indoor-outdoor kitty, but only in a home where there is a very SAFE outdoor environment; otherwise he should be kept indoors, which he seems to be just fine with. Please come meet Collin and get to know this very special boy! His adoption fee is $75, which is strictly to help cover our costs. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, deflead and dewormed and comes with a free vet visit. Collin is temporarily in foster care. About West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for companion animals of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd. WCDC works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. WCDC is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help WCDC save as many animal lives as possible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 11-4pm Sat.-Sun.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.
