MILO is a handsome and energetic little male kitten with tabby markings on his face and belly. His coloring is very unique looking: his back is dark brown with little silver flecks (called "ticking"). He's a very affectionate little boy, but he is also very independent. He loves having his head rubbed and purrs like crazy. Milo and his siblings were found when they were about 3 weeks old and have been raised in a loving foster home with 2 small dogs, an adult cat, and lots of human attention. He loves to wrestle with his siblings and bat his toys around, and would do best in a home with another playful young animal, or where someone is home alot to monitor him and spend lots of time playing with him. His adoption fee is $110 ($200 for 2 kittens), which is strictly to help cover our costs. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, deflead and dewormed and comes with a free vet visit. Milo is currently in the cat room at the Petsmart on Coburg Rd (across from Costco). For more info, please call Beth at (541) 255-9296.

About West Coast Dog and Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for companion animals of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd. WCDC works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. WCDC is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help WCDC save as many animal lives as possible.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our cats can be seen at Petsmart on Chad Drive and on Willamette St, at Petco near Valley River Center and Wags Emporium on Coburg Rd, seven days a week during normal business hours. We do have adoption counselors available on weekends or by appointment or from 11-4pm Sat.-Sun.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.
