Facts about Devon

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: APC-A-88
  • Hair: Unknown
Devon came to Allie's Pals by way of our friends at Paws-in-Need; she was cared for by a Good Samaritan couple when they found her in their back yard with her litter of tiny kittens. Not only was Devon struggling to feed her kittens, she had been attacked at some point and had a badly infected ear. Devon is completely healed now, and will forever wear her badge of courage in the form of a notched left ear. This girl is a survivor! Devon is a very petite cat, and is very quiet. It takes her a bit to warm up to new people, but when she does, she's happy to be petted and scratched under her chin. She gets along with other cats, but doesn't seem to have a need to have a close cat companion. She likes to snooze, curl up on the back of the sofa, and watch out the front window. We think she's be happiest in a very quiet home with no small children. Devon is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, fully vaccinated (including rabies), and treated to prevent fleas. About Allie's Pals Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Allie’s Pals Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization devoted to the well-being and rescuing of cats and kittens throughout the TriValley. We are dedicated individuals who find joy in creating healthy environments and, ultimately, forever homes for cats and kittens that otherwise may not have the opportunity to enhance the lives of people. We encourage the positive collaboration of area feline rescues in order to maximize efforts for all who share in the goal of treating, rehabilitating, and rescuing cats and kittens from public shelters. Our combined years of experience are proof of our commitment to nurturing furry felines and offering temporary foster homes while screening potential adoptive families.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Many of our adult cats are shown at the Dublin Petsmart, located at 6960 Amador Plaza Road, Dublin (Alameda County), CA, and may be viewed during the store's normal business hours.

Adoptions interviews are by appointment; potential adopters may contact the person listed on either listings or at the Dublin Petsmart.

Kittens, when available for adoption, are shown at the Dublin Petsmart on Saturdays (11:30 am - 3:00 pm), and Sundays (noon - 3:00 pm).

Our Adoption Process...

Before the posting of our cats or kittens for adoption, they have been spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV and FIV, microchipped for identification (Allie's Pals Cat Rescue takes responsibility for registering your new pet's microchip for you!), and are current on their age-appropriate vaccinations, wormings, and flea prevention treatments.

All potential adopters are subject to the approval of an Adoption Counselor with Allie's Pals; our sole goal is to help make sure our cats and kittens are placed in PERMANENT, safe, compatible and loving homes.

All adopters will be required to sign an Adoption Contract, and will be provided with complete health and behavioral information about their new pet. Adoption fees apply: Cats over the age of six months ($50.00), single kittens up to the age of six months ($75.00), two kittens up to the age of six months and adopted at the same time ($125.00).
